Project Apis m. invites CSBA members to a Forage Field Day! PAm will host the 'Seeds for Bees' event on April 26th, at 1:30. It will 'bee' held at Capay Ranch, located near Hamilton City. The field day will showcase blooming fields of rapini (Brassica), clovers, vetch, alyssum, phacelia and a mix of wildflowers. Learn how the soil is prepped, equipment used, bloom emergence-duration and more. This is a great opportunity to meet participants in the forage for honey bees project. Our primary purpose is the care and welfare of the honeybee. Our group membership is composed of commercial and small scale beekeepers, bee hobbyists, and bee enthusiasts.
