Best of Bodega: Bees Buzzing on Echium

The Pride of Maderia (Echium candicans) is blooming in the tiny Sonoma coastal community of Bodega.

The purplish-blue spiked flowers attract honey bees, bumble bees and syrphid flies.

And visitors. And photographers.
