The Los Angeles County Beekeepers Association, will once again be participating in the education of about 800 4th graders about honeybees and their importance in pollination of crops and how the entire food chain is impacted by honeybees http://www.agdayla.com/.  If you're interested in spending a couple hours helping teach 4th graders about bees, please contact Mary Landau (626) 794-4025 or (626) 695-0470 to sign up! We're also looking for additional observation hives for this event; so if you have an observation hive we can use, please let Mary know. Thank you!

(NOTE: Mary Landau is our contact for AGdayLA. Please do not contact her for information about honey bees or swarms. Just contact her if you are an LACBA member who can help as a volunteer talking about honey bees for AGdayLA. Thank you!)
